Personalized Holistic Ayurvedic Support for Optimal Gut Health, a Calm Mind, and Overall Well-Being
Have you ever been told “everything looks fine” even though you know something’s not right in your body?
You're not alone.
Many of us live with symptoms that don’t always show up on a lab report, like fatigue, pain, digestive issues, or just a sense of imbalance.
Origins Ayurveda takes a more personalized approach to wellness, one that considers the whole picture of who you are, not just your symptoms. Rooted in the 5,000-year-old system of Ayurveda, this practice blends traditional wisdom with practical, real-world application. We will work together using food, daily habits, herbal support, and body therapies to restore balance in a way that fits your life without interfering with your current medical plan.

Ayurveda Origins Meets You Where You Are
Ayurveda isn’t about rigid rules or one-size-fits-all solutions—it’s about understanding your body and how to work with its natural tendencies to feel your best. My own journey began with curiosity and grew into a deep respect for this practical, time-tested system of healing.
Since discovering Ayurveda more than two decades ago, I’ve studied in India, the Netherlands, and the U.S. to bring this ancient practice into busy modern lives. Origins Ayurveda's has a simple but powerful purpose: to help you integrate Ayurveda into your life in ways that feel sustainable and empowering.

Treatments
Abhyanga
Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic massage with warm, herb-infused oils, tailored to your constitution. Unlike Swedish or sports massage, it follows a therapeutic rhythm that calms body and mind. Rooted in the Kerala tradition, special attention is given to the abdomen to support the nervous system, ease constipation, nourish dry skin, relieve cracking joints, and improve sleep.
Udvartana
Udvartana is an invigorating herbal powder massage that tones the body and stimulates sluggish circulation. Traditionally used for metabolic and digestive sluggishness, it also helps improve skin texture and awaken the senses. The stimulating friction of the herbal powders supports lymphatic flow, reduces excess moisture, and leaves you feeling energized, and refreshed.
Swedana Therapy
Swedana uses herbal steam to gently open the body’s channels and encourage the release of toxins. When combined with medicinal herbs or oils, it supports circulation, relieves stiffness, and enhances the benefits of Abhyanga by deepening detoxification. This soothing therapy also calms the nervous system, eases muscle tension, and leaves the body feeling light, clear, and revitalized.
Basti
Localized oil therapies. Basti treatments use warm, medicated oil held in place using a dough ring made of Black gram flour over a specific area of the body to deeply nourish tissues and relieve discomfort. Depending on your needs, this treatment may focus on the lower back (Kati Basti), knees (Janu Basti), or neck (Greeva Basti). These therapies ease stiffness, support joint health, and restore structural stability.
Pinda Sweda
Pinda Sweda uses warm herbal boluses dipped in oil and applied rhythmically across the body. This deeply soothing therapy is focused on relaxing sore muscles, calming inflammation, and reducing swelling while nourishing tissues. By stimulating circulation and lymphatic flow, it helps to restore strength, mobility, and ease pain.
Shiro Pichu
Shiro Pichu is a calming therapy where warm, medicated oil is applied to the crown of the head and left to gently nourish. It soothes the nervous system, eases mental tension, and supports deeper, more restful sleep. Especially restorative during times of stress, it helps quiet the mind and bring a sense of grounding and calm.
