My journey into Ayurveda began with a question, not a crisis.

I wanted to understand why I didn’t feel quite right, even when everything looked fine on paper. What I discovered was a system that cares about more than just putting a bandage on a root problem. Ayurveda offered a way to look deeper so I could finally make sense of my body’s signals and reconnect with rhythms I didn’t even know I’d lost. I discovered how making small changes could have a lasting impact.

I’ve studied Ayurveda in India, the Netherlands, and the U.S., learning from incredible teachers and experiencing firsthand how this ancient science fits into modern life. What stood out to me then, and continues to guide my practice now, is how adaptable Ayurveda is. It doesn’t ask you to abandon your lifestyle or beliefs. Instead, it helps you make small, meaningful changes that actually stick.

One of the most powerful lessons Ayurveda teaches is that nature’s rhythms shape our well-being.

The modern world of 24/7 convenience, complete with constant stimulation, erratic schedules, and food that’s always available, has caused us to lose touch with those rhythms. Ayurveda helps us reconnect, not by imposing outdated rituals, but by offering grounded, sustainable ways to restore balance.

As a practitioner, my goal isn’t to prescribe or dictate. Instead, I see my role as a guide and partner, helping you integrate Ayurveda into your daily routine in ways that feel doable, supportive, and empowering.

How it Works

Learning Ayurveda is like learning a new language. It can feel overwhelming at first, but once you start practicing it, it will become more comfortable and familiar. Begin by observing your habits and choices to understand how they impact your energy and emotions. In time, you’ll cultivate an intuitive understanding of what actions, foods, and behaviors support your balance and vitality.

Ayurveda is rooted in the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space (also known as Ether). These elements are more than just physical substances; they are the underlying energies of life. Earth gives us stability, Water allows for flow, Fire fuels transformation, Air creates movement, and Ether provides space for it all to exist.

Ayurveda teaches us to maintain harmony by balancing these forces within us. When these elements are in balance, we feel stable, energized, clear, and connected. When they’re out of sync, we may experience fatigue, pain, mood changes, or a sense of being off. At the heart of Ayurvedic healing is Agni, your digestive and metabolic fire. When Agni functions well, the body can heal and thrive. When it's weak or imbalanced, disease can take root.

By learning to recognize these patterns in your body and mind, you can begin to make subtle shifts that lead to real relief. This is where our work begins: with awareness, compassion, and a commitment to healing that starts from the inside out.
